Ok everyone, it looks like Sunday June 5th will be a go for our Armor Party in Destrehan at noon . Please send me an email letting me know if you will be attending and if you will be bringing anyone who is not currently on the forum. Please include your name so I know who I am talking with, I will provide my contact info as well as an address for my house.

Please RSVP so that I can make sure there is plenty punch and pie.... lol or beer and snacks... probably beer and snacks

Please remember to bring any tools you may have, since I will most likely not have tools for everyone.

Ok everyone I think today was largely a success... I got some stuff fitting right and others got some stuff trimmed... Definitely got my confidence back.

I will go ahead and put it out there that I am going to host another one in the near future... If you are interested please let me know a few good dates and I will see if I can accommodate for most people.

Great time today - thank you for hosting us!

Thanks also to Remy for coming out and providing the voice of experience. Roger - another future member - had a good time as well.

I managed to rough cut quite a few pieces. So I feel like I've made a start and can get rolling on it.

I'm just down the road, so any time you want to host, and I'm free, I'm happy to come over and lend a hand.

This was lots of fun. I am so glad that I was able to pass on some knowledge to my fellow members and future members. I am just sad that I wasn't able to stay longer. Maybe next time we can do it on a Saturday, as I am usually free all day then. Can't wait for the next one.
