Hey Daniel!

Glad to have you with us. We probably have a few members who can give you some good tips, including our GXO/GML Shane. Also take a look over at https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/. This is the Stormtrooper detachment forums and they have advice on where to look for quality parts you may need like boots, gloves, and other soft parts as much as the armor.

Hey Daniel, welcome aboard. Stormtrooper costumes are made for most shapes and sizes, however most come in a kit form and will need assembly. This assembly will often include cutting, sanding, trimming, and lots of gluing. There are a few reputable vendors for kits and as Kevin mentioned, I would start with the Stormtrooper Detachment website, whitearmor.net for tips on buying kits and constructing them.

If you have questions about your build or even a particular vendor, feel free to contact me. I have know some of the vendors fairly well and can help with answering questions.

Also, consider being a handler until you complete your armor. This will get you a glimpse into what it takes to troop and also allow you to speak in person with some of your Garrison mates.

Good luck!

Hello and welcome. I knocked out two TK helmets today (my first) . Take your time with the ears. The rest was really easy.
