Hello Walter.
My name is Jeffrey. Its so good to have another person in Lafayette interested in our little group. Lafayette is quickly growing.
You have already done your first step and signed up and introduced yourself. Now we just need to make a costume. What were you interested in making?
We are attending Bark in the Park this Sunday. You should come out and talk.
If you have any questions my number is 257-4188.

I am interested in having a snow trooper armor.
Problem is that it will probably take some time. Still in college and what not. Still though.

Be patient to start,I know when I started working on my mandalorian costume I was trying to rush it. Take your time and make sure it's right. We aren't going anywhere. I'm still working on it to this day and still not finished with it.If you need any help or advice don't be afraid to ask. Good thing is you have a awesome group in Lafayette that can help. They all helped and encouraged me on my builds. Good luck and can't wait to see your progress.

Thankyou.
Yeah, that's a problem I have. I tend to take things fast. I blame Aspergers.

A snowtrooper! Awesome!! Its on my build list, and ive been slowly getting parts for it. Blizzard Force is your guiding beacon, and ive already purchased a roll of white fleece to make my robes.
Im no stranger to Hoth costuming, and while its warm to wear, its rewarding.
I TOTALLY understand working on a budget. I try to build top quality with limited funds that seem to take forever to get together.

Awesome idea Walter. I love the snowtroopers. As said, dont rush. I rushed through my scout and I'm constantly fixing and adding to it. As I like to tell all potential members, come out and wrangle for us for a bit. This helps you meet your local troopers and make friends who will be happy to help you build your costume. We are short on wranglers in BatonRouge and I believe Lafayette as well. Most of us longtime wranglers.are in costume now. Looking forward to trooping with you

Hey Walter

From another Lafayette member I'm glad to see you here on the forums. There will be a lot of new things and new people. Things can feel a little over whelming at first! You have plugged into the BEST group of caring people. I know I have met a bunch of caring people who can help and inspire you!
Every time I get discouraged I reach out for help or go to an armor party or just go wrangle and I'm right back into working my costume!

Any questions just post here or over on Facebook we will be glad to help!

Hi Walter!

Lafayette is definitely growing, and you're in good hands with the troopers there!
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
