As I mentioned in my intro, I'll be putting together an IC mechanic outfit.

So far I have the required CT10 Overalls, approved -tentatively by David White- boots (just fantasma, nothing fancy yet).

The Fusion Cutter and Hydrospanner were 3D printed, they were designed by someone in the Mandolorian Guild I believe. I'll detail and weather later. With that being said, the factory pocket that the cutter is hanging out of in the above pic looks like it's supposed to be sewn shut... but 'common  I think we can let that slip? 8-)

Dewka let my buy a spare helmet off him,

From there I'm starting the pocket and mods:

Try tapering the legs an inch or so, and adding stirrups at the bottom of the legs to pull them into the boots

Totally need to do that. Getting the boots on is a two person job atm.

Let's see. What else have I gotten done.

There's the command I printed and painted (still needs some touchup) and the code cylinders from the Elvis Trooper.

That begs the question, though... does an IC crewman use a Pilot's commpad, or a Scanner Crew commpad?

I whipped up the later just in case, though I see no indication either way.ImageImageImage

I was the fifth approved Mechanical crewman and when that initial crl was written there was no commpad nor belt. Ot was a VERY simple uniform. Perhaps that has changed.

Regarding commpads on ANY uniform you have to check crls. At one time all crls stated WHITE commpads for ALL uniforms. That eventually got fixed but when I was GML i lived in the forums and checked the CRLs weekly. Crewmen gave commpads based on type of crewmen and at least at one time the IS classification had a unique grey commpad

I just re checked and the inly option is the red T shirt as seen on screen. There are no other options on Mechanical Blues.

Some CRLs have the compads in or out based on the chosen movie format. For example, Bridge crew uses a compad for ANH & ROTJ, but not for ESB.

That's right. There's no specification. Also, the commpad pocket in the pattern fits the pilot type like a glove.

I could easily tack in fuzzy velcro in there for the scanner crew type if it ever gets verified.

Thx for double checking. ^_^
