Advanced Recon Team (ART) scout squad

Postby Bubonos » Sun Jul 31, 2016 7:12 pm

Hey scouts I was reading up on a topic on pathfinder and saw a section for ARTs. Its garrison to garrison squads of scouts much like the flight squads the tie pilots have. Its to help build a sense of scout pride for those with scout costumes and much like a squadron of pilots, a group of scouts just looks cool. Much like the flybys the Velker Flight does at event, the ART would go on a recon but without the banners because we scouts rather creep up on the rebels rather than broadcast our approach. [WINKING FACE]
We would have to come up with a logo and a name and if we decide to form an ART, we could work together to come up with a design and name. I was thinking about going with a Louisiana theme, something like Bast Alpha Swamp Scouts or cypress dodgers. But as i said, if yall are interested, please come up with names and logos we can all agree on.
Its recommended that a fb group is made and a pathfinder command staff member is an admin for the group. This is to help plan scout appearance at events and setup the missions. (our sortie) I think it sounds like fun and another great opportunity for more swag we could offer to the garrison and the detachment.

Its open to biker scout, kashyyk and shadow. Technically shadow isn't in our detachment, but it's still a scout. We are working on the crl for the scout on Rebels as well as shore trooper so two more soon to be added we hope.

I like this concept Jeremy. Scouts do have a certain elan (not as much as pilots of course) and a a group of scouts on a recon at a convention would be cool. Continue to pursue this idea.

I'm still interested but I'm in no position to work on anything with my house still needing paint and floors.

Tammy and I were talking about a Louisiana theme to the name. I thought of maybe rougarou pack or team. But still kicking ideas around.

Would an ARF (Advanced Recon Force) clone trooper be allowed in? They specialized in reconnaissance, scouting the area ahead of the main force

Is it the kashykk clone? Idk if you have to be a biker scout as much as a member of the pathfinder detachment.
