Bast Alpha Garrison

Hello everyone,

I would like to host an armor party for those of you that want moral or emotional support in completing your armor/costume. I live in Destrehan, LA which is just past Kenner/Airport off Ormond Blvd, for those of you familiar with the area. I would like to generate some interest in it before setting a date, that way we can set a date that the majority of people will be able to attend.

I have a rather large back yard and can easily host for 20 or so people, and I have folding tables and chairs, that are normally used for crawfish boils, so that everyone can have their own work space. I do have some tools, but not enough if we have a big group

Hopefully some members can attend to give us noobs some guidance. I think this would also be a good opportunity to build some friendships with existing members or fellow star wars/costuming fans.

I also like to host parties/dinners at my home, so if we can get a decent group of people to commit maybe we can boil crawfish or do something fun since we will all be together.

I would be up for it, but I am out until mid-June.

it needs to be updated as I have done a lot more, but you can slowly watch my confidence crash and burn for a good laugh.


@vader1, if you know anyone else that needs help with their Armor and would be interested in joining an armor party please have them reach out to me, I would like to get several people involved if possible.

You look like you are doing a pretty good job.

They are actually several troopers that have kits that need to start working on, myself included, I have an Anovos TK that is untouched. Hank needs some improvement on his TK, we need to help Oliver finish his. Bill, and Jack also have new Anovos kits.

I have an Anovos kit, and I'm also in Destrehan. June is pretty full, but I would love to get together for an armor party.

@gilamu Would you be available this up coming Sunday?

Unfortunately I have a ton of family stuff this weekend.

I would love to work on my armor, and I have a friend with a kit who does as well, but I really won't be free until July. We're renting right now, but closing on a house at the end of June, so I have to prep for moving.

I would be interested in coming. I know I don't really have anything to work on but can always pass on some of the little knowladge I have. Plus more hands make light work. Need a date first though. I am pretty open.

Hmm ok can any of you swing the first Sunday in June?
