Hello all,
My name is Tom, I am an Army Officer currently stationed at FT Polk, LA. I have started my biker scout costume recently and hope to have everything finished in the coming months. I already purchased the balaclava and just ordered the helmet from KS. GLoves will be next as will the flight suit once i get my measurements taken.
I have no sewing skills nor tools for making/shaping/altering this stuff, so it will be a challenge all around.
I think the armor will be the trickiest part to this, but I will tackle that when i get there.
Tips and suggestions are welcome.
Tom

Another tree Dodger in the works? Welcome aboard! So excited to see more and more fellow scouts joining! If you haven't already, go sign up on pathfinders. Lots of great scouts who beg for build wips! Be sure to post pics there too! You'll find great advice there. And as Jeffrey said, Paul lives out that way and is full lancer so he will be great help as well.
Scout love from the forest moon.

Re: Greetings from FT Polk
welcome!
ive built a couple of scouts, and I know you said Kropsercle for the helmet, not sure about armor. Ive built a couple of the Studio Creations kit and they come complete with great assembly instructions.
Lady K makes the bund and vest if you want it, shes made them before. Ive even made them but hers are much better than mine.
Good to see another tree dodger, they are great to have especially in groups

Welcome Tom. I live in Lake Charles and be glad to help. The only thing I haven't with a biker scout is build a helmet, but the garrison has many top-flight armorers that can help. If you haven't already done so, you should sign up on the biker scout forum at bikerscout.net.
