I know a member in Texas that does a lot of these, as well as Chunk on BSN and Blizzardforceand they use fabric glue (her) and iron on heat fusible webbing (him) to mount it to the suit prior to taking it to the sewing machine. I havent tried doing that yet, so I dont have first hand experience with it, but they do them pretty often.

Chunk is in San Joaquin Squad, which used to be part of SoCalgarrison, so you might want to get directly with him as well.

i took my knuckledragger coveralls in with reflective yellow tape to an alterations place and around here priosners wear the same orange suit. and of COURSE there was a local guard in there.....hilarity ensued.

Hey Sean, I have a scout also. On mine, I attached the riding patch with a product called Heat-n-Bond. You use an iron to attach the suede on the coveralls. Here are a couple of shots of my coveralls

Overall your armor looks good, I would wear your forearms lower to where they overlap the gloves, but that shouldn't affect approval.

On your coveralls, do you have the butt flap and elastic on the riding patches? If you have any questions let me know

I have the butt flap and elastic on it right now. I do have a riding patch, its just not as large as yours, the official standards do not really regulate the riding patch much just : "Suede or faux suede thigh patches must be present, extending over the flight suit crotch and down the front finishing above the knee armor. The thigh patches must be secured by 50mm (2") black elastic, sewn in under the front and back of the thigh patch." maybe its still approve able...

Tracer up in your neck of the state in Bossier is a very skilled costume maker in our garrison too. Shoot him a PM or message him on Facebook Eric Hull.
