That's a good location. The Quarter, Aquarium, and Riverwalk will be very accessible, as is the WWII Museum. Plus you're right on St. Charles Avenue, so streetcar lines are nearby. You should definitely travel up and down St. Charles, so that you can check out one of our Mardi Gras parade routes :) ...

We'll definitely have to work in dinner with you guys!

The Ogden Museum of Southern Art is not far from the World War II Museum. You can also take a river cruise from the Aquarium to the Audubon Zoo.

As said above, there's nothing wrong with floating around at most events. I think we all get tired of standing in one spot and posing endlessly - what are action figures without action, after all?
